The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating Boeing after the company disclosed a potential failure to conduct necessary inspections on the wings of some 787 Dreamliners. Boeing is conducting reinspections on all Dreamliners still in production and must develop a plan for those already in service. The investigation aims to determine whether employees at the company falsified aircraft records. The FAA stated it will take any necessary actions to ensure public safety. Boeing asserts that there is no immediate flight safety risk. This inquiry adds to the previous scrutiny Boeing faced after a door panel incident on a 737 Max flight in January.
